Name one of the most famous chefs in the world. One of the most popular answers will be Ramsey. I have never tasted one of his dishes, but frankly I couldn’t give a shit about that. Why do we know him? Is he famous because he’s changed the culinary world? No. He hasn’t.
He’s famous because he screamed, yelled, abused, and belittled people on television. That’s it. That’s all.
You’re celebrating a man who abuses people for ratings, and you eat that shit up like it’s some sort of a good time.
“Oh, he’s only playing it up for TV”. Maybe, but he’s got a choice to do that. He doesn’t need to. But it’s his brand. His brand is abusing people. Screaming at people until they cry. Telling people they’re worthless.
